2012 OCBC Hanamatsuri
Reminders for the annual OCBC Hanamatsuri festival coming up on April 14 and 15 (Saturday and Sunday):
- Sign-up sheets are now available for our booth; as usual, we are in charge of the imagawayaki booth.
- Anko (red bean paste) preparation will take place on Tuesday, April 10, starting at 6:00pm in the kitchen next to the gym; volunteers please bring an apron and hairnet or tenegui; kendo practice will begin at the usual time.
- No kendo practice on Thursday, April 12, but we need adults and older teenage kenshi to help with booth setup in the parking lot starting at 6:00 p.m.
- We will have our kendo demonstration on Saturday, April 14 starting at 5:00 p.m.; Kinno sensei will provide more details.

Winter Kendo Camp
We are planning to have a winter kendo camp from Wednesday, 12/28 through Friday, 12/30. Please see the attached flyer for details. The schedule for each day is as follows:
Wed 12/28: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Thu 12/29: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Fri 12/30: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
There will be no sleepovers at the dojo and the cost per kenshi is $40 for all 3 days (meals/drinks/gym fee is included).
